Though I couldn’t resist the playful assonance of its title, Kelley Edits is a newsletter that tracks my experiences with both editing and writing.
Inspired by the publication of my first book in fall 2022, I reflect on the collaborative process of preparing a manuscript, what it taught me about publishing, and how I can support fellow writers with their publication projects. I’ll also highlight compelling issues that have come up in my role as an editor and share tips and resources for academic and nonfiction writers.
